Cassandra Niki is a film director of Indonesian-American background. Niki started as a blogger, addressing topics such as youth underground cultures and challenging censorship in the conservative Jakarta of that time. This blog later transformed into a national bestselling book, paving the way for a career as a magazine writer. Subsequently, she pursued photography studies at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, USA. She gained work experience as a photographer and art director at various creative agencies and tech companies in San Francisco before relocating to Oslo in 2017. Here, she has worked as a creative coordinator, production designer, and director. As a commercial film director, Cassandra Niki has a portfolio that includes productions for Mester Grønn, Tacticus, Altibox, Helsedirektoratet, Blå Kors, Cutters, and Moo Norge. Additionally, she developed her first TV series, "Søndagsbarn," in 2023, awaiting publication.W
